Natalie's work is in private collections in Canada and the United States, and she has shown extensively throughout Victoria and the Lower Mainland. Glass objects, and their reflections, painted on an abstract background is one way Natalie aims to express beauty in an untraditional still life. Inspiration for Natalie's oil paintings comes from her surroundings; apples. onions, and tomatoes from the garden may find they share a canvas with teapots, glass jars, and old vases. Natalie is often described as a character, and her goal is for that character to come through in her work. |
