I work primarily in oils, but often take time to draw in charcoal, pencil, and pastel. Subjects right now tend to be chosen because of a relationship the subject has to my three kids.  Kids love mandarin oranges, so that's what I am painting.

You'll find my work at the Curate Gallery, a brand new gallery in beautiful Cadboro Bay.
My work is in private collections world wide; I still marvel at the fact someone brought a piece home to Germany last year.

I have been working as a full time artist since my husband proposed 15 years ago.  I studied at the Victoria College of Art, and graduated as class Valedictorian in 1999.

Since that time I have had work included in juried shows in Vancouver, with the Federation of Canadian Artists, and on Vancouver Island at various venues, which include the Sooke Fine Arts Show  and the Sidney Fine Arts Show.
I also enjoy showing my work amongst the great artists who are members of the Island Illustrators Society.
