Art Supply List, Drawing

1 sketchbook, at least 9x12.  Strathmore recycled sketchbook, 60 lb paper is a good choice.

1 HB pencil, 1 2B pencil, 1 5B pencil and one 8 or 9B pencil.  They get softer and darker as they get higher in number.  A 2H or 3H is a nice, hard pencil for really fine work.

1 stick of soft, compressed charcoal.  Don't wear white while drawing with this stuff.

1-2 sticks vine or willow charcoal.  This looks like a burnt stick.

1 white eraser

1 kneadable eraser

1 stump...this looks like a paper pencil and is really useful for blending both charcoal and pencil

So, all told, this is maybe $30 worth of supplies, may be a little less, a little more.
